Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has approached Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to “put aside his outrage” and come back to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ize-Iyamu made the intrigue on Monday in Benin City, Edo State after he rose as the governorship applicant of the APC for the September 19, 2020 survey in the state.
He said Obaseki committed an error leaving the gathering and he could in any case right it.
He contended that it is entirely expected to have a difference in “each family” and that it would be terrible for Obaseki to leave the APC because of that.
“I will get a kick out of the chance to speak to him to come back to the gathering.
“In each family, you have differences; let it not be said that it was this contradiction that pushed him out.”
Ize-Iyamu who was the governorship applicant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2016 said he made “that botch previously and I have come to acknowledge it was a horrifying blunder and I would not need him as a senior sibling to commit a similar error.”
Ize-Iyamu guaranteed that he would work with him (Obaseki) for the advancement of Edo State on the off chance that he returns.
Pastor Ize-Iyamu clarified that in the “APC, he (Obaseki) is perceived as a pioneer yet in the new party you are going to, it will be hard for them to acknowledge you as a pioneer.
“It would be pleasant for him to return and we are prepared to work with him and all good natured Edo individuals.”
